Sushi Like

A contemporary Japanese restaurant for Sushi Like at Oxford Circus, in the middle of one of London’s busiest retail and dining districts. The space needed to feel calm and welcoming while handling high footfall.

The interior takes its cue from traditional Japanese craftsmanship, simplified into a modern, minimal language of natural timber, warm lighting and clean lines. Bar seating, tables and circulation were planned for both quiet meals and busy service. Materials were chosen to last and to be easy to maintain, and the project was delivered on a design and build basis.
