Japanese BBQ

A Japanese BBQ restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. The brief was a contemporary dining room that copes with the demands of table grilling and high daily volumes.

Natural timber, textured walls and simple geometric detailing, combined with integrated lighting, give the interior a warm, understated feel. Seating, circulation and staff routes were planned to maximise capacity without compromising comfort. Design, construction and fit-out were coordinated as a single design and build package.
